A Year Of New Adventures

Well ... It hardly seems 12 months ago that we were ready to welcome 2011. I think I speak for most people ... Particularly Queenslanders when I say that we will be VERY happy to usher 2011 back out the door!! We surely have had a shocker of a year, but despite cyclones, floods, earthquakes (A big G'day to our NZ neighbors!) and other assorted hiccups, there are a few positive things that I WILL take with me into 2012.

The first would have to be the feeling of pride that, in the midst of the year's upsets, there was a strong spirit of mateship, support and camaraderie shown by so many people to help those affected to pick themselves up to start over.

Tied into that is the realization I came to when Toowooma made world headlines with our inland tsunami ... I have a HUGE number of fabulous friends all around the world who care about what happens to me and just 'get' me! :0) What a precious gift!!

Thirdly, I'll take with me into the new year the belief that the next twelve months are going to be wonderfully EXCITING!! I have some BIG plans that I hope to launch ... Stay tuned! And some of my good blogging buddies are also planning big things. Add to that the incredibly positive sentiments that so many of us are feeling as the new year sneaks closer and 2012 is sure to be FANTASTIC!!!

Sooooo .... Are you ready to dive into a year of exciting new adventures with me?!?! Yeah?! Well, in that case ...

2012 ... BRING IT ON!!!

My New Years wish to all of my blogging buddies is that 2012 will see you stay safe, stay well, stay in touch (hint!hint!) and see some of your dearest dreams come to fruition. As for me ... I have to go re-join the party here before someone eats all the pavlova! Tee! Hee! Hee! Til next time,

HAPPY NEW YEAR BEAR HUGS!!!

CHEERS!
KRIS

That same person must be at your place who comes to mine and eats all the pav. Sounds like you have lots of plans, all the best for 2012.

Yes - I'm glad to close the door on 2011. On top of all the natural disasters we had a few personal ones as well. As we drove up the highway on holidays this year I couldn't help thinking back to last year's drive and the rain, rain, rain. And both sides of the highway were lapping water. It was scary to say the least. But 2012 is going to be bigger and better - looking forward to seeing your new projects and plans. Take care and Happy 2012!

Yes, MOST happy to leave 2011 and wave it bye-bye. And I am not jealous about the pavlova cos I got one all my own for my birthday...and was invited out to party on NY Eve. I am still astonished that these half my age persons wanted me to party with them!
