You see ... I happened to pop into Quilters Angel (as you know I'm prone to do!! Tee! Hee! Hee!) and what should I see but the GORGEOUS new range of fabrics being unpacked ... "Rouenerries Deux". It was love at first sight! :0) Oh how I wanted to buy a metre of each ... but the play money would NOT reach that far ... SIGH!!!! Must win lotto somewhere along the track! :0) So ... I got busy with my sketchbook and pencil ...
... sketched out a new quilt design ... measured ... calculated ... calculated again ... scratched my head ... rubbed out ... calculated again ... did I mention that numbers and I really don't get along! :0) But finally, I worked out what I needed to make my new design and then I went ...
SHOPPING!!!!
I drooled over all of the fabrics, laid them out beside each other, swapped, changed, rearranged until I had my finalists ...
YUMMY!!! Can you blame me for wanting to bring these DELICIOUS fabrics home with me?! I'd love to tell you what I've been stitching this week, but I'm WAY too busy fondling my new fabricky friends! Tee! Hee! Hee! If you want to play with some of these yummy fabrics, you should give Marion a call ... I dare you to stop at just ONE! :0)
I hope your week is going well and that you, too, are enjoying some fabricky fun of some sort. Are you adding to your OPAM list? Or are you working on some longer-term WISPs? I'm looking forward to seeing some pics!! :0) Til next time ...
BEAR HUGS!!
