Day Eighteen -Indulgence!

Happy Sunday to you all! I hope you've had a relaxing weekend. Day Eighteen of our holiday & it was a very laid back one. It started with a bit of a sleep in & catching up with washing (why is it that even when I'm on holiday I still have to do theses tedious chores?!?!) before GB & I collected Mum & Dad for a trip into Mt Barker for a holiday indulgence.

My Aunt had told us about a coffee shop called 50SIXONE that rather specialises in yummy, decadent desserts. And since we're all on holiday, we decided to indulge! :0)

Dad was a bit overwhelmed with his Nuttella pancakes ... Topped with a Kinder Surprise chocolate egg that housed a Ferrero Rocher.

GB delved into his "It Ain't Sunday" sundae that combined a chocolate brownie with homemade vanilla & chocolate ice cream & Chocolate sauce.

Mum ... Wondering how she's going to fit in her Banoffi Waffles ... Fresh waffles, honeycomb ice cream, banana, caramel sauce & crushed choc-coated honeycomb topped with fairy floss. This was also my pick from the menu. And they were all DEEEEEEELICIOUS!! :0) Needless to say, we all waddled away from the table, skipped lunch & had a light dinner. So worth it! :0)

And that was our final day in South Australia. Tomorrow we're back on the road. Hmmmm ... I wonder how we're going to fit all of our recent wine purchases into Big Blue along with everything else?!?! We're gonna clink our way home! :0P And since we'll be up early get packed & on the road, I'd better head for bed. Have a fantastic week! Til next time ...
