Busy Week & OPAM Draw,

Hello everyone! I hope you've had a fantastic week! Mine has been busy, busy with my grown up job as my Beloved Geek Boy & I are getting ready to hit the road at the end of next week for another of our road trips ... WOO! HOO! 😁 ... And before I go, I have to try to think ahead to what will be needed at my work while I'm away because nobody does my job when I'm not there. In fact, I have one of those jobs where nobody knows what I do until I'm not there to do it! Tee! Hee! Hee! Add in that it was a short week due to Monday being a public holiday in QLD for the Queen's Birthday, & I didn't have a lot of time or energy left to sew ... BUT ... I DID have a finish over the long weekend. Remember theses squares?

Well, they have now been sewn together to make ...

... A carry pouch for a yoga mat. It's for a giftie, but I'm thinking I might just have to make myself one, too. I still have plenty of my ocean coloured fabrics left, despite having now made two patchwork skirts, a stacked coin quilt & a yoga mat carry pouch. They're the fabricky equivalent of the Biblical loaves & fishes! 😂

So ... I already have a finish for my sidebar list for October, which is a good thing since we'll be on the road for the end two weeks of it. And speaking of sidebar lists ... Thank you to all the lovely OPAMers who emailed their finishes for September through to me and/or updated their sidebar lists to make it easier for me to collect the OPAM tally for September. Once again, there were some GORGEOUS projects finished & more had some progress made on them, so well done everyone! The tally was a little lower, but quite a few of us have been working on longer term projects, which explains that. There were ...

79 FINISHES

... For September! Fantastic! 😁 And the random draw winner was ...

Well done June! Drop me an email & I'll send you a PDF copy of one of my Tag Along Teddies patterns. Thank you to everyone for playing along with OPAM again this year ... Your creativity & cleverness is inspiring to me. 😘

But now, I'm off to put the kettle on for a cup of tea (Mango Twist today, I think! 😉) & send myself a little cross eyed with some pattern outline editing. SIGH! It's tedious & time consuming, but does give my pattern outlines a sharper, smoother look that makes them more user friendly, so it's a labour of love. 😁 Have a fantastic weekend ... I'll be counting down to the start of our road trip! Tee! Hee! Hee! Til next time ...

BEAR HUGS!

CHEERS!
